As a UX Project Manager

You will be responsible for managing teams of UX designers and developers while maintaining high levels of client interaction, to successfully deliver UX projects, in terms of client satisfaction, quality, budget and schedule.

The role includes creating project estimates, hour tracking, and trafficking deliverables. Additionally, the Project Manager will be able to anticipate workload and the resources needed while working closely with the UX Designers to create and execute innovative work to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will have the ability to seamlessly flex between managing multiple projects, owning schedules, outlining key milestones, and assuring quality of deliverables while interfacing with dynamic client teams and fostering new business opportunities. This role requires excellent project management, strategic thinking/problem solving and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Relevant formal qualification/degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a ux/creative agency or similar experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with UX Design team members, developers and clients.
  • Ability to anticipate and make trade-offs to balance the business needs vs. creative constraints.
  • High attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve blockers, and know when to escalate to keep a project moving forward.
  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools, Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
  • Experience working in agile projects is a plus.
